Operating Room Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel assignment in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin
• 13-week contract
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Day shift with rotating shift times: 0630-1500 or 0630-1700

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• Wisconsin RN license
• Current EPIC experience within the last 6 months

Preferred

• At least 1 prior travel contract completed
• Charge role experience

Unit and Clinical Details

• Primary location: Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital
• Operating Room covers OB c-sections and all hospital inpatient and outpatient surgeries
• Unit overview: orthopedic and medical surgical patients
• Orthopedic service line is 40% of total volume
• Experience with Orthopedic Hana table, Total Knees and Hips, strong ortho, cataract procedure, and c-section circulator role
• Must be comfortable with emergency situations
• Full-fledged operating room experience with all service lines for 2-3 years
• One on-call weekend every 6 weeks and one weekday overnight per week
• Float scope includes Waukesha Memorial and Mukwonago
• Should not be asked to work outside clinical skills unless approved by the employee, unit manager, shift advisor, and Staffency
• Blue scrubs provided
• COVID-19 vaccine required unless medical or religious exemption applies
