Job Opportunity – Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse – Wisconsin

Start Date: September 13, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 0700-1730, Monday through Friday with weeknight, weekend, and holiday on-call responsibilities. On-call includes one weekend every 6-8 weeks, one weeknight per week (Monday-Thursday), and holidays as operationally needed.

• Diverse case mix including pediatric general OR, ambulatory OR, trauma, and transplant procedures
• Two pre-approved time-off periods available during assignment

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Wisconsin or compact state)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only) required; PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years acute care pediatric OR experience within the last 3 years
• Kidney transplant experience required
• Pediatric OR, ambulatory OR, and pediatric trauma experience required
• Level I and Level II trauma experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Successful completion of pre-assignment competency testing including pediatric and adult telemetry exams with strict passing criteria (80% or higher; 100% on lethal rhythms)
• Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
• Willingness to float as needed and respond to code situations
