Nuclear Med Tech - Travel Position

Location: Pikeville, Kentucky
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week (guaranteed, except during holidays when unit is closed)
On Call/Weekend/Holiday: As scheduled
Float Requirements: To be determined

Job Description

Provide radiologic care to patients for diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders.
Operate Nuclear Medicine scan units to perform clinical diagnostic procedures as directed.
Use Keyboard Patient Registration and Siemens software for workflow.
Charting experience required; facility uses Epic electronic health record system.

Required Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program.
NMTCB or ARRT Nuclear Medicine certification.
Kentucky State Certification.
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine specialty.
Ability to operate Nuclear Medicine equipment.

Additional Information

Position follows a 75-mile radius rule.
Start date: ASAP.
