Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography

Location

• Rochester, Michigan

Job Summary

• Perform computerized tomographic (CT) radiological procedures under general supervision.
• May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations.
• Prepare patients and explain examination procedures.
• Review clinical data and obtain additional patient medical history as needed.
• Set up and operate CT equipment, including manual control to obtain diagnostic images.
• Administer intravenous contrast media using power injectors and monitor patients for reactions.
• Assist Radiologist with complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies.
• Ensure radiation protection principles are followed (shielding, dose reduction, ALARA techniques).
• Manage imaging workflow including PACS image quality and RIS study indexing.
• Document all procedures and clinical information in medical records and radiology information systems.
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.

Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours)
• Every other weekend required
• Overtime available after 48 hours

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent or required hours of continued medical education
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Advanced Registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
