Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Med Surg (3 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room experience
Preferred Education
- BSN
Role Summary
- Provides professional nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team in a surgical unit
- Uses the nursing process, evidence-based practice, assessment, individualized care planning, patient teaching, and coordination of care
- Includes bedside lab testing, quality control, documentation, delegation, and shift reporting
