Job Overview

• Travel/contract role in West Islip, New York
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• No weekends
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or Registered Technologist through ARRT
• CT certification
• Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in New York
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Preferred Experience

• 2 years of experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care before, during, and after PET/CT procedures
• Verify patient information, physician orders, consent, and pre-procedure preparations
• Perform PET/CT imaging procedures according to departmental protocols and regulatory requirements
• Maintain documentation, patient registration, orders, and PACS/EMR quality assurance
• Perform equipment quality control, manage radiopharmaceuticals and inventory, and maintain safety and regulatory compliance
