<h3>Assignment Overview</h3><ul><li>Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs</li><li>Hours: 36 hrs/wk</li><li>Start Date: Sep 14, 2026</li><li>Length: 13 weeks</li><li>Openings: 1</li></ul><h3>Description</h3><p>American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring an active MI RN license and prior travel nursing experience.</p><h3>Details</h3><ul><li>Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting</li><li>Patient ratio of 1:5</li><li>Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)</li><li>Every other weekend required</li><li>No on-call requirements</li><li>Floating required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals depending on volume/census</li><li>Uses Paragon charting system</li><li>Scrubs of any color permitted</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Active MI RN license required</li><li>Current BLS and ACLS certifications required</li><li>CPI certification preferred</li><li>Minimum 2 years of recent experience required</li><li>Prior travel nursing experience required</li><li>EPIC charting experience required</li><li>Community hospital experience preferred</li><li>Charge nurse experience preferred</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li>Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients including cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and emergency response</li><li>Skills in IV therapy, PICC line management, and peripheral line care are valued</li><li>Experience with respiratory care including BiPAP/CPAP management and tracheostomy care is valued</li><li>Experience with wound care, isolation precautions, and IV insulin protocols is valued</li><li>Maximum RTO allowed is 10 days, and if RTO falls during a holiday, must be willing to work at least one of three designated holidays</li><li>Candidates must live at least 50 miles away as local candidates are not accepted</li><li>Previous employees must have been separated from this facility for at least 3 years before returning as a traveler</li><li>First-time travelers are not accepted for this position</li></ul>
