Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Evening, 5x8 hours, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule Expectations

Every other weekend
No on-call
May float to other units within scope of practice
May also float to Ashby or Herrick Campus depending on need/census
Travelers should be flexible with floating between campuses or within the hospital
Shuttle provided if floating is requested

Responsible for managing nursing care from admission to discharge
Provides patient safety, comfort, hygiene, disease prevention, restorative measures, and emergency response
