Operating Room RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Marion, Indiana
• 13-week agreement
• Day shift: Monday-Friday, 6:35-15:05
• On-call required one day per week
• Start in October

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Operating Room experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID
• Background check completed within 30 days of start, including SSN Trace, Counties, National Criminal, and National Sex Offender search
• EPLS/GSA/SAM annually
• HHS/OIG annually
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Respirator fit test within 3 months of start, then annually
• Tdap vaccine or declination
• Negative 2 Step PPD, Qgold, or Tspot within 3 months of start, or clear chest X-ray if previously positive
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity by titer or vaccination, with boosters required if titers are negative/equivocal
• Hepatitis B titer or declination
• Drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
• Skills checklist annually

Facility Requirements

• IT access form required
• Annual mandatory training required
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Competency exam as applicable to profession/specialty
