Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Kalamazoo, Michigan
13-week assignment
Day shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Patient ratio: 1:4
Unit has 22 beds

Schedule

No call required
Every other weekend required
Every other holiday required
Floating required as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Cerner

Additional Details

Local candidates are not accepted; traveler must live at least 50 miles away

Charting system: Cerner PowerChart

Health and Compliance

Background check required within 90 days of start
Education verification or diploma/transcript required
Physical exam required
Negative 12-panel drug screen required within 30 days of start
TB screening required
Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation required
Flu vaccination or approved exemption required before start
Confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement required
