Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technician

Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work schedule: Four 9-hour shifts per week
    • One shift from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
    • One shift from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
    • Alternating days off
    • Approximately 10 days of call per month
  • Manager open to 4x10 hour shifts (7:30 AM to 6:00 PM)
  • Seeking an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician with Neuro experience

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Texas
  • Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • Current certification from one of the following:
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
    • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
    • Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
  • Neuro experience

  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
  • Two professional references verified within one year of start
  • Skills checklist and competency exams required, including medication and EKG/dysrhythmia competency for IR staff
  • Orientation and occupational health appointment required prior to start
  • Pass/fail testing on medication calculation and EKG at orientation

Work Environment

  • Call approximately 10 days per month
