Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Deerfield Beach, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Work Schedule:

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
  • Thursday: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Saturday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with on-call duties
  • Option to work extra shifts weekly to reach 40 hours
• Hurricane sign-up required (not guaranteed)
• Adult patient experience required in inpatient and/or outpatient settings
• Experience with Siemens CT equipment required
• Experience with the following imaging areas preferred or required:

  • Abdomen/Pelvis
  • Chest
  • Head/Neck
  • Multiplanar Reconstruction (preferred)
  • Preparation/Administration of Contrast Media
  • Starting IVs
  • Spine/Musculoskeletal
  • Aspirations/Biopsies (preferred)
  • Drainage (preferred)
  • Brain Perfusion
  • PACS
  • CTA, CCTA's (preferred)
• Trauma experience required
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
• ARRT certification
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience working with adult patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Experience with Siemens CT equipment
• Experience with Chest imaging
• Experience with Preparation and Administration of Contrast Media
• Experience with Starting IVs
• Experience with Brain Perfusion imaging
• Experience with PACS
• Experience with CTA

Prior Travel Experience

• No explicit prior travel experience required

Required Certifications and Compliance

• Background check within 6 months including all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprinting clearance required prior to start
• Physical exam within 6 months of start, signed by DO, MD, NP, APRN, or PA
• Negative QuantiFERON TB test within 6 months (TSPOT and PPD not accepted) or chest X-ray if prior positive
• Annual fit mask test with approved masks (3M 1860 Regular or Small)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity:

  • 2 MMR vaccines or positive titers for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella
  • Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination
  • Varicella vaccination, positive titer, or declination
• Flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
• Two professional references from within the last 2 years
