Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work in a General Emergency Department combining Adult and Pediatric patients (Non-Trauma ED).
Patient ratio approximately 1:4.
Night shift schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM).
Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule period (Friday, Saturday, Sunday combination).
May be assigned holiday shifts and Charge RN duties as needed.
Floating within scope of practice is required; may float between ED Hold area, other departments, units, and facilities.
Facility is a Primary Stroke & STEMI Center; occasional OB patients requiring mother/baby management until transfer.

Valid RN license in Kansas.
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, with ED experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Certifications required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by American Heart Association
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
