Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule note: Every other weekend

Role Summary

Emergency Room RN responsible for independent care of Level 1 trauma patients in the Trauma Bay.
Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 4:1 or 5:1 depending on assignment area.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or ARC
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
TNCC
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Experience with Epic
