Job Opportunity: ER Registered Nurse

Location: Honesdale, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shifts: Combination of Evening (3x12 hours, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM) and Night (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) based on unit needs
Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required
No block scheduling, no call, and no floating requirements
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) Certification
Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Staff is Very friendly and helpful. They provide scrubs. Easy work.

Cons

Difficulty finding a place to stay around here. They won't schedule you in blocks and you have to find someone to switch. NOTHING to do around town- everything closes at 5.
