Technologist - Cath Lab

Location: Pontiac, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days

Job Description

Provide services in the Cardiovascular/Interventional Laboratory including:
- Cardiac catheterization
- Angiography
- Peripheral angioplasty with or without stent placement
- Venography
- Cardiac pacemaker insertions
- Various non-vascular interventional procedures
Work with both inpatient and one-day outpatient services
Patient population primarily adult to geriatric
Trauma Level II facility
Electronic Medical Record system used: Paragon
Dress code requires hospital-provided procedural scrubs; no open outside clothing allowed in procedure rooms (e.g., sweatshirts, long sleeve shirts)

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Appropriate licensure for Technologist specialty (as applicable)
