Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist - RRT)

Location: Glendale, Arizona
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a temporary assignment in Glendale, AZ. The facility is a Level I Adult Trauma Center with a recently expanded acute-care campus offering state-of-the-art surgical suites, a heart and vascular center, and all-private patient rooms.


Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 24 months (2 years) of current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience required
  • Prior travel experience required
  • PICU/NICU experience preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Arizona Respiratory Care Practitioner License required
  • Active National Board for Respiratory Care Certification required
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required
  • Flu vaccination required (declinations accepted with proper documentation)

Other Requirements

  • Candidates with an Arizona driver's license will not be considered
  • Verification of license must show no hits or issues at time of submission
  • Background checks must meet specific compliance requirements
  • Learning modules must be completed prior to assignment start
  • Resume must include all facilities worked, facility size, beds, trauma level, and units
  • Skills checklist specific to Registered Respiratory Therapist discipline must be provided
  • Return to Office (RTO) requests must be less than 7 days and cannot occur during the first week or holidays of the assignment

Additional Information

  • Start date should be on or very soon after the order start date
  • All shifts, departments, and locations the candidate is willing to work must be clearly indicated
  • The facility is a Level I Adult Trauma Center capable of handling severe trauma cases including car crashes, gunshot wounds, stab wounds, and traumatic brain injuries
