Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg/Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Overview

• Temp role in Rock Island, Illinois
• Days, 12 hours per day
• 13-week contract
• May float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Historically maintained a 1:7 patient ratio

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Illinois
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines
• Experience with titration of Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, and Argatroban
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience

Preferred

• At least 1 travel contract completed

Additional Assignment Details

• NBO: 16 hrs
• EMR: EPIC
• Summer holidays: traveler will be required to work 1-2 of Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day
