Job Overview

Role Responsibilities
- Embed surgical, autopsy, and cytology specimens
- Perform routine microtomy sectioning at 2–10 microns
- Perform cryotomy
- Carry out routine automated H&E and special staining
- Troubleshoot common histological artifacts
- Perform slide/block reconciliation
- Use hospital and laboratory information systems
Required Qualifications
- Histology Technologist (5 years of experience)
- Histology Technologist experience within the last year
- Professional license or certification verification is required for onboarding, as applicable to the position
- Resume including the past 7 years of work experience, with city and state listed for all work experience and education
- 2 references from within the past 4 years, including at least 1 supervisor or above in the skillset
- Completed skills checklist within 1 year of submission
- Education verification through background check
Onboarding Requirements
- MMR documentation or proof of immunity
- TB test documentation within 3 months of start date
- Physician health statement within 365 days of start date
- Criminal background check
- Massachusetts CORI check
- SSN trace
- National sex offender check
