Job Opportunity: Break RN (Night Shift)

Work Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Approximately 36 hours per week

Job Summary

• Provide safe and effective nursing care independently across various hospital nursing departments including Emergency, Medical Surgical/Swing Bed, and Skilled Nursing.
• Provide break relief and supplemental staffing to RNs in these departments.
• May be assigned to any department where trained and competent.
• Care for patients of all ages (0-120 years).
• Maintain required proof of competency to ensure expected level of patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of float experience within the last year
• Emergency Department (ED) experience
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience
• Current American Heart Association certifications: BLS for healthcare providers, ACLS, and PALS
• BLS must be issued by the American Heart Association
