Pediatric Acute Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Shift

Location: Tuba City, Arizona
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide professional nursing care to pediatric patients, working independently to complete assignments based on physician orders, nursing standards, and hospital policies. Support patients of all ages and their families in a culturally diverse community.

Work Schedule

Day shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 3 years of Pediatric Medical-Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Pediatric experience
Current certifications maintained throughout employment:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association

Experience

Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in the specialty

Additional Information

Orientation sessions held every 2 weeks
COVID and flu vaccination exemptions may be accepted upon submission of a declination form
Limited shared housing available at $600/month (no family or pets allowed); housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start
The facility serves a large, culturally diverse area including Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute communities
