Job Opportunity: Medical/Surgical RN

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care.
• Perform excellent assessment, communication, computer, and documentation tasks.
• Function independently and respond rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Shift

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Medical/Surgical unit)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine.
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Medical/Surgical specialty (defaulted to higher requirement if discrepancy found).

Additional Notes

• No prior travel experience explicitly required.
