- Unit: Main Operating Room
- Number of Beds in Facility: 284
- OR Staff: Approximately 55
- Shift Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 1 trauma RN, 1 trauma tech (variable)
- Night Shift: 2 RNs, 1 tech, 1 RN on-call, 2 techs on-call
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in the Operating Room setting.
- Typical procedures include all OR cases except burns, transplants, and hearts.
- Preferred skills include trauma and vascular experience.
- Personality fit: Easy going and self-motivated.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; PALS preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in the specialty (Operating Room).
- Meditech EMR experience required.
Contract Length
- Approximately 13 weeks
