48 hours per week

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Education

Nursing Diploma, or
ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing

Key Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process in a hospital setting
Assess patients and families, including readiness to learn, discharge needs, and safety needs
Develop, update, and prioritize plans of care with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
Deliver care for patients with complex physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs
Perform bedside point-of-care testing as required
Support patient education, care continuity, collaboration, and unit performance improvement
