Contract

• 13 weeks
• Day shift, 12 hours
• 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• 1 year of telemetry experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• EKG competency and rhythm interpretation

Preferred

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Schedule / Assignment Details

• 3 x 12-hour day shifts, 0700–1930
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be placed on call during a regularly scheduled shift
• No scheduled call shifts
• Weekend shifts may be required based on staffing

Unit Details

• 32-bed unit
• Average patient load is 3–5 patients depending on acuity and shift

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
• Provide health teaching and counseling
• Perform delegated medical functions
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
• Document care according to hospital and regulatory guidelines
