Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Education

• BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing

Role Overview

• Provides direct clinical nursing care in a hospital setting
• Coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process
• Works with interdisciplinary team members to evaluate and plan patient care
• Assesses patient, family, and caregiver learning needs and provides education support
• Prioritizes care for patients with complex problems and supports discharge planning
• Participates in unit goals, performance improvement, and research-related practice improvement
