Interventional Radiology Tech

Location

Jacksonville, Florida

Contract

13 weeks

Schedule

4x10 hour shifts
Start times: 7:30 AM or 8:30 AM, depending on call shifts
Flexible to work holidays
Call required: 7 PM–7 AM
1 weeknight call shift each week
1 weekend call shift per month

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, or registry eligible with certification obtained before start date
Registered Technologist (R.T.) (ARRT)
ARRT registration in Vascular Interventional Radiology within 18 months of start date
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a sterile environment and aseptic technique
Associate degree
Body, Neuro, and Vascular Surgery experience
Previous scrub cases

Job Responsibilities

Provide imaging services for adolescents and adults
Produce high-quality images for Radiology and assigned Operating Room areas
Work with a variety of equipment and technology
Follow patient and staff safety guidelines
Communicate effectively and support teamwork
Maintain flexibility across work locations and shift lengths
