Interventional Radiology Tech

Location

Jacksonville, Florida

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

4x10 hour shifts
Start times: 7:30 AM or 8:30 AM
Call required: 7 PM–7 AM
1 weekday call shift each week
1 weekend call shift per month
May include holidays and weekends

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Florida
Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Registered Technologist (R.T.) (ARRT)
Associate degree in radiologic technology or equivalent from an accredited radiologic technology program
Body surgery experience
Neuro surgery experience
Vascular surgery experience
Previous scrub cases experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a sterile environment and aseptic technique
Associate degree preferred
ARRT VI strongly preferred

Job Responsibilities

Produce high-quality images for radiology and operating room areas
Work with adolescents and adults
Use a variety of equipment and technology
Follow patient and staff safety guidelines
Communicate effectively and work as part of a team
Be flexible with work locations, shift times, and shift lengths
