Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Perform computerized tomographic radiographs following established practices and procedures.
- Review exams for clinical appropriateness and prioritize accordingly.
- Communicate effectively regarding critical situations.
- Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures.
- Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ARRT (CT) certification
- NM State License
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Epic system preferred.
Additional Information
- Dosimeter badge required for radiation exposure monitoring; must be supplied and replaced quarterly to ensure safety compliance.
- Adherence to radiation safety protocols is mandatory.
Note: Floating between departments and local sites within a 20-mile radius is part of the job requirements.

Pros
The manager was very good at her job, but she was especially good with her staff.
Cons
Schedule, the ratio, they said 4&5 for days and nights in a PCU unit, respectfully, but quickly changed it to 5&6 patient ratios and didn't change it back, no follow through on calls after they had asked for an extension from the nurse. Then they did it again, I was starting a new contract with them on a different unit and one day before starting they cancel the contract. One day. I had turned down other jobs, since I was going to work there, over a month wasted.
