Job Summary

Provide nursing care under general supervision to patients with a range of health problems from simple to complex in a hospital setting.

Essential Responsibilities

Manage an assigned group of patients.
Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments; note changes in physician orders.
Assist physicians with patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
Obtain and monitor patients’ physiological data; observe and intervene as necessary.
Administer prescribed medications, regulate and monitor IV infusions and blood products.
Deliver competent patient care.
Communicate care plans to patients and families during hospitalization and at discharge.
Inform patients and families about hospital procedures.
Make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel.
Delegate tasks to support staff.
Perform other assigned duties.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma.
Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
