Contract Length: 13 weeks

Provide individualized, holistic nursing care to patients and families, supporting their progress toward self-identified goals.
Perform nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of safe, therapeutic, and efficient patient care.
Promote quality outcomes and collaborate with healthcare team members to manage complex or high-risk clinical situations.
Serve as a patient and family advocate to ensure excellent and satisfying care.
Assess patient and family needs, develop and implement age- and culturally appropriate nursing care plans.
Evaluate patient and family progress and adjust care plans as needed.
Identify and address patient/family educational needs using individualized teaching plans.
Recognize communication barriers and seek interdisciplinary support to establish therapeutic relationships.
Delegate care tasks appropriately within the healthcare team.
Coordinate and communicate with healthcare team members and ancillary staff to support patient progress and workflow.

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
