Medical Lab Technician II – Blood Bank (Atlanta, GA)
Job Details
- Specialty: Technician II (Medical Lab Technician)

- Shift: Night shift, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Expected Hours: 36 hours per week
- Setting: Blood Bank in a large hospital (500 beds)
- Patient Population: Adult and neonate patients
Job Description
- Position focused on blood banking duties.
- Experience required with blood bank computer system (SoftBank) and analyzer (Grifols Erytra).
- Familiarity with Erytra Gel and Tube testing.
- Use of Cerner (PowerChart Millennium) system is required.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Lab Technician with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year.
- Certification by ASCP or AMT.
- Experience with Cerner (PowerChart Millennium).
- Experience with SoftBank blood bank computer system.

- Parking available at $74/month (self-pay lot).
- Contract length is 13 weeks.

Nobody tells you anything you are lost when you worked there when it comes to information of things you should know as a Traveler when it comes to who to talk to in the department on different things it’s just all jacked up so just be mindful. It is a great place to work but at the same time management is not always around to help
