ECHO Vascular Technician

Job Overview

• Location: Medford, Wisconsin
• Employment type: Travel
• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, generally no weekends; holidays as needed
• Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
• Start: ASAP
• Contract length: 6 weeks

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of experience
• BLS certification
• One of the following credentials: RDCS, ARDMS, RCS, CCI registry, RVT, or RVS
• AHA or ARC certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic charting experience
• Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in an allied health field

Key Job Details

• No float
• No on-call requirement
• Knowledge of routine cardiovascular pharmacological agents
• Knowledge of cardiac and/or vascular anatomy and physiology
• ECG interpretive skills, including identification and differentiation of arrhythmias

Work Environment

• Primarily outpatient with a few inpatients daily
• Only echo tech onsite
• Scrub colors: any color acceptable

Additional Notes

• Must live outside a 50-mile radius
• Eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours
• Flu-season masking is required for travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination
