Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• Variable shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Shift times: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekend rotation: every other to every third weekend
• Every other holiday

Work Setting

• Supports all patient care areas of the hospital, including the ED and general care areas
• May be low censused and placed on call
• Call-back minimum: 2 hours
• Float locations: Rhinelander, Tomahawk, or Eagle River

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree
• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Wisconsin
• Respiratory Therapist experience
• Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS

Preferred Qualifications

• NRP
• Travel experience preferred

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide emergency support for Rapid Response and Code Blue
• Perform basic respiratory care, critical care, ventilator management, patient assessment using Assess and Treat Protocols, care for all age groups, ABG draws, and EKGs

Equipment / Charting

• V60 BiPAP
• AVEA
