Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) (Days)

Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (8 hours per day)

Job Description

• Work in the Surgery Department specializing in a broad range of surgical procedures including endocrine, breast, oncologic, gastrointestinal, colon and rectal (open and laparoscopic), and hepatobiliary surgeries.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to stressful situations.
• Scheduling accommodations (e.g., block scheduling, shift changes) will NOT be considered.
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will NOT be considered.
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed. RTO requests after submission will NOT be approved.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Operating Room nursing with scrub experience (scrub experience is mandatory).
• Experience in multiple surgical specialties required.
• Current New Hampshire RN license or Compact license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required.
• Must have own vehicle for transportation.

• Current licenses and certifications (including Nursys verification, BLS, and RN license).

Additional Information

• Orientation is non-billable.
• Overtime and holiday multipliers apply as per facility policy.
• The facility is a 169-bed regional referral center located in a scenic area with many outdoor recreational opportunities nearby.

Note: This position requires strict adherence to scheduling and licensing requirements. Candidates without the required New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate will not be considered.
