Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
48 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
First-timers accepted
Guaranteed hours
Every other weekend required

Unit / Assignment Details

RN ED
Will cross train and float between campuses
Assigned to one campus, with possibility of rotating to other campuses
Travelers do not get trauma/rescue rooms, triage, or locked behavioral health units
Average ratio: 1:6 days, 1:6 nights

Level I Trauma Center
Total staffed beds: 1,567

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
ED - Emergency Department (1.5 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
TNCC
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

2 years of experience
