Registered Nurse - LTAC

Location: Hazard, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Minimum 2+ years of current LTAC experience required.
• Experience in MS/Telemetry or ICU with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratios.
• Must be proficient with Meditech EMR.
• Every other weekend shift required.
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated.
• Schedule typically follows a 36/48 hour pattern over a two-week pay period.
• Orientation occurs bi-weekly.
• Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility.
• Driver’s license required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) experience, including experience within the last year.
• Certifications:

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Experience in a Long Term Acute Care setting.
