Registered Nurse – Outpatient Surgery

Location: Los Angeles, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (06:45 AM – 5:15 PM)
Hours per Week: 40 hours

Job Description

Experienced RN needed for outpatient surgery with responsibilities including scrubbing and circulating in cases such as General Surgery, ENT, Plastics, Orthopedics (spine, sports medicine, hand/podiatry), Urology, GYN, and Breast Oncology.
Must have recent scrubbing and circulating experience.
First-time travelers are eligible if experience requirements are met.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Minimum 2 years of outpatient surgery experience, including scrubbing and circulating, with at least some experience within the last year.
Recent scrubbing and circulating experience.
Experience in the following surgical specialties: ENT, Plastic Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, OB/GYN, and Oncology.
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
