Critical Care Float RN

Job Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Worcester, Massachusetts
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
48 hours per week
Contract length: 26 weeks
Critical care float assignment

Work Setting

Float between all adult ICUs and step-down units
Not assigned to post-cardiac surgery, balloon pump, Impella, transplant, or EVD patients

Required Qualifications

Valid Massachusetts RN license
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
3 years of Critical Care Float experience
Critical Care Float experience within the last year
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience
Trauma experience
BLS issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
Must pass two pass/fail exams at orientation: medication exam and telemetry exam
Must be comfortable floating across all adult ICU settings and step-down units

Schedule

Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Missed call-outs must be made up at the end of the assignment

Additional Notes

Minimal requested time off: 3–5 days
Candidate must acknowledge the orientation testing requirement before submission
