Stepdown Neuro Nurse

Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Castro Valley, California
13-week assignment
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
36 hours per week
Unit involves stepdown and telemetry patients
Nurse-to-patient ratios may range from 1:3 to 1:5
Weekend requirement: every other weekend
On-call: as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
NIH Stroke Certification
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
Telemetry experience

Preferred

Travel experience preferred

This role is for an acute care RN on a combined stepdown and telemetry unit
