Job Overview

Location: Waterbury, Connecticut
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 4x10 hours
Hours per week: 40
Call: 2 nights weekly unless on the weekend
Weekend rotation: Every third weekend
First-time travelers: Accepted

Required Qualifications

Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
State license verification
National certification verification
2 professional references within 3 years of start

Screening / Compliance

Background check
EPLS/GSA/SAM check
HHS/OIG check
Connecticut state exclusion list check
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
Negative 10-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
Hepatitis B documentation
COVID vaccination documentation or approved exemption
Flu vaccination documentation or approved exemption
Photo for badge
Facility-required modules before first day

Additional Notes

Medication and competency testing may be required, depending on profession/specialty
HealthStream modules are assigned before start and must be completed prior to the first day
