Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Charleston, West Virginia
• 3x12 nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekdays, every other weekend
• 13-week contract
• First-timers accepted
• No call requirement
• Can be floated within scope to meet facility needs
• Open to block schedule requests, discussed in interview
• 100-mile radius rule; 75–99 miles may be sent for facility approval
• No RTO restrictions, but requests should be discussed in interview
• Guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours per week options, discussed with manager

Unit

• 3S Intermediate Care Unit
• 8 IMC beds and 10 Observation beds, staffed separately
• Ratios: 3:1 for IMCU and 4:1 for M/S
• Patient population includes respiratory issues, DKA, arrhythmias, post-operative kidney transplant patients, interventional neurological patients, telemetry patients with medical and surgical needs, and renal patients

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in West Virginia
• Intermediate Care (1 year of experience)
• Intermediate Care experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with mechanical ventilation
