Role Overview
- Travel/Contract RN position in Labor & Delivery
- Includes OR, antepartum, and float to postpartum
- Start: ASAP
- Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Schedule: 7 nights a week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- NIHSS
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure issued by American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic
- Copies of Continuing Education taken within the last 24 months
- Unit Specific Comp Exam
- Infection Control/Bloodborne Pathogens exam
- Medication/Calculation Exam
- Arrhythmia Recognition Assessment (EKG exam)
- 2 references within 1 year of start in the current specialty
- Government issued photo ID
- Criminal Background Check within 1 year of start, updated annually
- Physical within 1 year of start, updated annually
- N95 mask fit testing within 1 year of start, renewed annually
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year of start
- Hepatitis B series or declination
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
- Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Flu vaccination or signed declination by 12/5
- Signed HIPAA acknowledgement
- Signed confidentiality agreement
- Signed unit-specific job description
- Signed traveler acknowledgement
- Signed epidural pain policy review
- Signed standard of care skin care attestation
- Signed orientation info and acknowledgement
- Signed skills self-assessment
- Signed Pyxis agreement
- Signed pass/fail testing acknowledgement
- Signed first day instructions acknowledgement
- Signed TB symptom review
- Signed workplace violence prevention acknowledgement
- Signed sexual violence and sexual harassment policy acknowledgement
Preferred
- Hepatitis C titer is strongly preferred
