Operating Room Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Apple Valley, California
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 20 weeks

Work Setting

• Operating room role
• May be asked to float between the main OR and the outpatient surgery center
• Weekends may be required at least every other week and may exceed that schedule to meet unit needs
• On-call required, including weekend/holiday call
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart&Stroke
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience

• 3 years of experience preferred with surgical procedures outlined in the unit description
• Epic experience highly preferred

Additional Notes

• All skills are required
• Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered
• RTO must be included at time of submission
• Guaranteed hours may be reduced by one call-off per two-week pay period
