Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Stockbridge, Georgia
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 8 weeks
• Every other weekend
• One 12-hour call shift per schedule
• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Locals accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS
• PALS
• EFM / AWHONN on file prior to start
• NURSYS verification
• State license verification
• Education verification of related degree
• Background check completed before start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months of start
• TB questionnaire
• Drug screen within 60 days of start
• Flu vaccine or declination
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• 2 clinical references
• Skills checklist within 12 months
• Verification of most recent employer
• Photo ID
• Color blind testing
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
• Competency exam
• Code of conduct acknowledgement
• Dress and professional appearance policy review

Scheduling / Assignment Notes

• If one major holiday falls during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it; if two fall during the assignment, both must be worked; if three fall during the assignment, two must be worked
• Maximum RTO: 7 days
• Full compliance is required to start on time; otherwise start may be pushed back 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation
• Clinical screening is case-by-case before manager review
