Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
• Night shift: 4x12 hours, 18:00–6:00.
• 13-week contract.
• 48 hours per week.
• Short-term acute care facility.
• Level III Trauma Center / Teaching Hospital.
• 733 staffed beds.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in North Carolina.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience).
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year.
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Military Training Network.
• BLS.
• PALS.
• NIH Stroke Certification.
• National tech certification verification.
• Education verification related to the specialty.
• Background check within 6 months of start.
• Physical exam within 1 year, updated annually.
• Tdap within the last 10 years.
• Negative TB or chest X-ray within 1 year of start.
• Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity by titer or 2 vaccines.
• Hepatitis B vaccine series, positive titer, or signed declination.
• Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days.
• Flu vaccine or approved exemption during flu season.
• Experience working with Adult or Pediatric patients.
• Must be comfortable working with adults and children in ICU.
• Must be comfortable working with Peds and adults.
• No holiday RTO accepted.
• 4 days or less of RTO.
• Days, weekends, and holidays required.
• Every other weekend required.
• Float as needed within scope to like units.
• Pending license not accepted.
• Local candidates not accepted within a 50-mile radius of the main campus.

• On-call is not required.
• Block scheduling is not available.
• Return travelers must have been gone for 1 year.
• The system has a 2-contract limit and then requires 6 months away to return.
