MS/Tele Float

Role

• Float Pool Traveler needed for multiple MS/Tele and MS units within scope of practice.

Schedule

• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Every other weekend
• Holiday coverage needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• 2 years of float experience
• Float experience within the last year
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Additional Notes

• Full 7 years of work history must be included in the application, with city and state for each location and no gaps.
• Unit-specific skills checklist required.
• 7-year background check required within 6 months of start.
• Sex offender search required within 90 days of start.
• FACIS Level 3 search required within 2 weeks of start and then monthly after start.
• TB screening questionnaire required within 90 days of start and renewed annually.
• Negative TB or chest X-ray required within 90 days of start, or 2 PPDs as specified.
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start.
• Fit test required within 1 year of start and renewed annually.
• Negative 9-panel drug screen required within 6 months of start.
• Flu vaccination documentation required during flu season.
• Color blind exam required if applicable.
• Employment application must include full 7 years of work history with no gaps.
