Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Charlottesville, Virginia.
• 13-week assignment.
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00.
• 36 or 48 hours per week may be available.
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed.
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required.
• Must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays.
• Up to 40 hours of time off can be approved.

Unit Details

• 26-bed acute care unit.
• Patient population is primarily General Surgery and Trauma.
• Post-surgical patients make up 90% of the unit; the remaining 10% have medical diagnoses.
• All rooms support cardiac monitoring, capnography or end-tidal CO2 monitoring, and continuous pulse oximetry.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Virginia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• Experience with Epic
• Must adhere to UVA float policy.
• BLS is required.
• ACLS is required.

• BLS preferred.
• ACLS preferred.
