Registered Nurse - Electrophysiology

Job Description

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing electrophysiology (EP) study procedures related to the heart.
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and pre- and post-procedure care.
• Collaborate with electrophysiologists during diagnostic and interventional EP procedures such as cardiac rhythm mapping and pacing.

Schedule

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (4x10s)
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• No on-call, weekend, or holiday work required

Contract Length

• 8 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• Minimum 2 years of Electrophysiology Lab experience, including experience within the last year
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• IV certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Requirements

• Background check and drug screening
• Verification of education, license, and references
• Compliance with mandatory health screenings and immunizations (Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, TB)
• Completion of competency exams and skills checklist
• Adherence to code of ethics and mandatory training requirements
