Job Overview

• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of disciplines for coordinated patient care.
• Carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and with minimal supervision.
• Traveler may be required to work up to 6 weekend shifts and holidays as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma.
• Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience).
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• NRP issued by American Heart Association.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Driver's License.

Onboarding / Pre-Start Requirements

• Signed assignment agreement.
• Pharmacology exam with a minimum score of 80%.
• Core competencies exam with a minimum score of 80% or the national benchmark passing score.
• EKG exam with a passing score of at least 80%.
• Color vision screening.
• MMR documentation.
• Fit test.
• Hepatitis B documentation.
• Health statement or completed physical exam.
• Varicella documentation.
• Tdap documentation.
• Education attestation.
• Nursing contract worker onboarding.
• Nova StatStrip pre-hire modules.
• Cerner test-out.
• Badge photo.

• Unit-specific checklist.
• Influenza vaccine.
• Positive PPD / negative chest X-ray and annual TB questionnaire.
