Float Pool - M/S Tele RN

Overview

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment type: Long-term assignment
Schedule: 36 hours per week; day/evening/night rotation with every-other-weekend coverage
Unit coverage: Float pool role across multiple med/surg telemetry areas and other hospital units
Parking: Free on-site parking

Key Responsibilities

Cardiac monitoring
Managing cardiac drips
Reading telemetry strips
Floating between 8 units as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
2 years or more of total travel experience
2 years working as a Traveler
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Additional Notes

EPIC is used for charting
ACLS is listed as optional
Prior travel experience is required
